College Bound?
We can help.
You CAN go to college — the Rochester College Access Network (RCAN) is here to help you on the way! We can help you choose and apply to college, figure out how to pay for college, and make the best college choice.
FAFSA Fest Events
Since starting our FAFSA Fest initiative, we’ve assisted over 1,000 students with the completion of their federal (FAFSA) and state (TAP) college financial aid applications. At these events, our trained volunteers and higher-ed professionals works with students and families to make sure these complicated forms are completed accurately.
Why is this important? Every year, students who qualify for significant financial aid leave millions of dollars on the table. Completing the FAFSA allows students to have more opportunities and choices.

About the Rochester College Access Network
We convene the Rochester College Access Network, a community initiative with representatives from our local colleges, not-for-profits, school counselors and volunteers working to support Rochester city student access to college. RCAN members provide expertise, guidance, and volunteers for events.
This group has been meeting monthly since 2013.
